Her fiance is a graduate of Fairmont high school and Dunwoody Institute, Minneapolis He is employed in the office of Railway Motors, Fairmont. Nov. 5 Is the date chosen for their wedding at the Burt Methodist church. Paula Thilges To Head Riverdale One 4-H Unit Riverdale Rustlers Unit I met Saturday and had election of officers Paula Thilges, president; Suzanne Reding, vice Lenora Hilbert, Darlene Plathe, Judy Kollasch, Historian Sandy Wagner, Reporter; Judy Kollasch and Jane Reding, music chairmen; Paula Thilges and Ruth Thilges, recreation; Coleen Reding and Maribeth Thilges, courtesy chairmen. The club plans a roller skating party in November.

Vicky McGuire, Charlene Thilges and Lenora Hilbert told of their trip to Washington and showed slides. Girls who want to become members in 4-H were also present. They were Rita Schiltz, Sandy Kollasch, Barbara McGuire, Janice Erpelding, Diane Bormann, Ellen Bormann, Mary and Carry Thilges, Irene Thul, Suzanne Reding. Edward Thilges. Mary Becker was also a guest. Lunch was served by the hosts. F-Bureau Woman Workshop, Nov. 3 Kossuth County Farm Bureau women will hold a woricshop next Wednesday at the Methodist church here, with registration starting at 9:30 a.

m. A noon luncheon will be served at the church. Participating will be all 19G5- GG officers, chairmen and special chairmen. Mrs. Herbert Johnson, Charles City, chairman of district 2, will introduce the 19GG-G7 program.

Mrs. Marian Inman of Bancroft, former state women's chairman, will present "Pride in Farm Bureau." Lois Busch home economist of the Extension service, and Roger Hiemstra, assistant Extension director, will present a talk on "Citizenship." Approximately GO or more women from throughout the county are expected to participate in the workshop. LEDYARD Mrs. Bert Johnson was pleasantly surprised at her home Saturday when members of the Jolly Eight birthday circle arrived with the makings of a birthday lunch to celebrate the birthday of Mrs. Johnson, Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Lews and family, Westside, were overnight guests at the Jerry Wiener home Friday. They report that their son Jerry, who was critically burned at his home st'v- eral months ago, when a gas water heater exploded, is again in University hospital, Iowa City, with serious infection of his wounds.
