Catherine Neighbarger Viles obituary
ILL., TUESDAY MORNING, Funeral at Clinton Monday Afternoon For Mrs. C. Viles Clinton, July 28. (Special.) Mrs. Catherine Vilei of Clinton and one of its best known and beloved residents, died at her home Saturday evening from a complication of diseases. She had been in falling neaitn since tne death of her husband ten years ago. Funeral services were held this afternoon from the home. Rev. T. H. Tull. pastor of the M. E. church, otliciated. The Woman's Relief cvpe of Clinton had charge of the services at the grave in Woodlawn cemetery. Catherine Nelghbarger was born in Ohio and was married to C. J. Viles! in Bloomington. Six children were born to this union, two of whom, W. R. and Garrett Viles, Jr.. survive. Mrs. Viles had lived In the same location location on East Main street more than forty years. She was the youngest of a family of twelve children and was the last of her family. She was a lifelong member of the M. E. church.
