Carley Porter funeral plans
CARLEY PORTER RITES PLANNED FOR TOMORROW F u neral services for State Assemblyman Carley Carley V. Porter, the veteran D e m o c r atic legislator known as the father of California Water Project, will be held tomorrow. A memorial service for Porter, who died Wednesday Wednesday in Washington, D.C., at the age of 66, will be held at 1 p.m. at the Christ Unity Church, 635 S. Manhattan Place. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1715 W. Greenleaf Blvd., in Compton.
