Mrs. John Noble New President of Brimley P. T. A. BRIMLEY, Nov. 17.—Mrs. John Noble was elected president of the Brimley P.-T. A. at a meeting Tuesday night, Nov. 14, following conferences of parents and teachers In the various classrooms between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Noble succeeds James K. Allen. Other officers include Mrs. William Norton, first vice president; Mrs. Ann Hazel, second vice president; Jrma Perkins, secretary; and W. R. Gilbert, treasurer. After the meeting, a program was given by students from the various grades, including demonstrations in biology by Harold Passmore, June Albrough, Eunice Gilbert, anil Ronald Routhier; a demonstration in home economics by Fern MacDoyi- ald, Agnes Dcuman, Lois Horton, Anna Marie Donnay, Susie Crydcr- _man, and Louise Kosc: a. dcmon- stration in eighth-grade English by Frances Forest, Agnes Graham, Catherine Mills, Virginia French, Olive Lucas, Avis McGuire, and Betfy Misscr. Alter the demonstrations, nn original skit depicting the financial predicament of Michigan schools wafi presented by-students from nil grades. The program ended with group slng-fng.
