Hall gave, the ] dress of welcome. After the usual routine of business Mrs. George Mueller of Albert Lea, president the district Deanery/ read a verv earnest paper which . was followed by an 'address by Sirs. Hector ter of Minneapolis who gave of the salient points o( the trien- nial convention of the -Episcopal church which was held recently Cincinnati. 31rs. Baxter is a pleasing speaker and the ladies great privilege to considered it a riear her. Mrs. Norjis of Minneapolis' gave a history of the organization -o! the Babies Branch, whose aim is teach the smallest child to love and pray and work for missions. As a result of her earnest plea, Babies' Branch was organized in Austin- Election of officers which fol lowed resulted as follows; President, Mrs. G. H. Mueller, Mbert Lea. Vice President, Mr3. W. R. Terry Austin. Secretary, Mrs. J. n. Anderson, Austin. Treasurer, Mrs. L. H. Thomp- son, Albert Lea.' - A party ol ladies reserved a arge talile at the Congregational church whcre-lhey enjoyed an es- ecially fine supper. . A general reception Was held at ho rectory in the evening for ' out-of-town delegates. A short I program was enjoyed, conaist- ng of vocal solos by Mrs. Selby and Rov. C. \V. Holmes, piano :olin selection by Miss Thomas and Dr. 'Rayman. Refreshments vere served. The. next meeting will be held ie.\t November in Albert Lea.
