MRS. BERTHA RUMMEL, 78, of Stiff lertown, Cherry Tree RD o 1, died Sunday, June 14, 1970, in Miners Hospital, Spangler. Born Dec. 16, 1891, in Bowder-|| town, Cherry Tree RD 1, she was a daughter of John and Emily Johnson Kerr. Mrs. Rummel was a lifelong resident of the Cherry Tree area. She and her husband celebrated celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary anniversary on March 9. Surviving are her husband, Michael; the Following children; Wilmer, Cherry Tree RD 1; Mrs. Blair (Katherine) Lovvman, Danbury, Conn.; Mrs. De'mont (Frances) Walker, Mrs. Albert (Arlene) Pennington; Mrs. Wil-j liam (Margaret) Baer, all ofj Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Marlin and Mrs. Delores Engle, both of Cherry Tree; William, Barnes- b o r o; 28 grandchildren; 2<< • • ' yreat-grandchildren; four brota- crs: Boyd Kerr and Ted Kerr, 15 both of Hillsdale; Cort Kerr, Flint, Mich.; and Edgar Kerr, Cherry Tree R.D. 1. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth, and a sot 1 ., Blair. Friends are being received Irom 2-5 and 7-10 p.m. today at the Melvin C. Gwin Funeral Home, Cherry Tree, where memorial memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Zene Fleming of the Kingpost Assembly of God Church will officiate and interment will follow follow in Thompson Cemetery, H'llsdale.
