The greatest secrecy was maintained in relation to the case, and nothing was developed In regard to it until yesterdsy afternoon, when Detective Golden walked into the eourt with a well-dressed woman, who was accompanied by a little girl between 7 and 8 yean of age. The woman, who appeared to be about 40 years of age, wss permitted to tske a seat on one of tbe benches set apart for the audience, although It was evident that she was a prisoner.
