DEATH EARLY TODAY OF AJJKSERVE Had Been Resident of Chillicothe Chillicothe 35 Years; Funeral Tuesday Morning. Albert E. Meserve, 77, a painter and carpenter and for-,35" years a resident of Chillicothe, died at 3:40 thisunorning at the Chillicothe hospital hospital following a serious illness of less than a week. Mr. Meserve suffered suffered a stroke of paralysis Wednesday Wednesday and was removed to the hospital hospital Friday from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herb Danielson, 1123 Clay street. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock conducted Dy the Rev. J. Frank Baker. Burial will be in Edgewood cemetery. Albert Ernest Meserve was born January 15, 1871, in' this county, the son of Ephram and Mary Meserve. Meserve. He was educated in rural school in the Spring Hill area and the old Chillicothe Normal. Following completion of his education education he followed the blacksmith trade in Spring Hill and continued in that work after moving to Chillicothe. Chillicothe. Later he took up carpentry and painting. Because of ill health he had confined his activities for the last ten years primarily to cabinet cabinet making and refinishing. He had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Danielson, and family, since 1932. He leaves, in addition to Mrs. Danielson, a son,. Forrest D. Meserve, Meserve, also of this city, two grandsons, grandsons, Paul Danielson and Robert Meserve, one nephew, Claude Ramsey Ramsey of Washington, D. C., one great nephew and two great nieces. He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and a grandson Mr. Meserve had been for many years a member of the. Elm Street Methodist church and was also affiliated with the Modern Woodmen Woodmen of America.
