1977_Buckovich Elizabeth_Sister Patay from Johnstown
ELIZABETH S. BUCKOVICH, BUCKOVICH, 78, of Lucernemines, died Wednesday, June 15, 1977 at Burrell Manor Nursing Home, Blacklick, following an extended extended illness. Born Nov. 19, 1898 at South Fork, Cambria County, she was the daughter of John and Sophie Shedlock. Mrs. Buckovich was a member member of the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Lucerne- mines, the Altar Society of the church, the VFW and American American Legion auxiliaries of Homer City, and the Tide Ladies Auxiliary. She was a Gold Star Mother. She was a resident of Lucernemines since 1927, having formerly lived at South Fork. Surviving are a son, Charles J. Buckovich, Rochester, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. George (Mary Ann) Luksich of Lu- cernemines; Mrs. Steve (Josephine) (Josephine) Molnar of Warren, Ohio; a brother, Paul Rolincik of South Fork; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Patay of Johnstown, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1958; two sons, George and Leonard; two daughters, Sophie Sophie and Lucy. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. this evening and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Frank Mihalcik Funeral Home, Indiana. Mass of Christian Christian burial will be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 18 at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Lucernemines with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. H. A. Po- dowski the celebrant. Interment Interment will be in the St. Bernards Bernards Cemetery, Indiana. The Rosary will be recited for her at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral funeral home.
