Bryant D. Margraves Bryant D. Margraves of 1741 'Graham died" Tuesday - - - - evening at Parkview Nursing Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Leverett- Steele-Thomas Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Meadowbropk Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Margraves was born Feb. 20, 1901, in La mar County, son of James R. Margraves and Martha D. (Addison) Margraves. He was married to the former Irene Jordan. He was a retired chief of police for Commerce and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Sonny Margraves of Tyler and J. R. Margraves of South Houston; five stepsons, Allen Poole, Jack Poole and Wayne Poole, all of Paris, Bob Poole of Albuquerque, N.M., and Don Poole of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Billie Cope of Mesquite and Mrs. Edna demons of Waco; one brother, Ed Margraves of Paris; four sisters, Mrs. Lottie McGinnis and Mrs. Maude- Cannon,- both-- of Paris,, Mrs. Birdie Endsley of Brookstpn and Mrs,,O. H. Nation of Blossom; 25 grandchildren; and 17great- grandchildren.
