Former Goirham mayor or! Floyd Burl Floyd Crain, 78, of Gorham, died today Jan. 17, 1979, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Crain was the former mayor of Gorham and a retired carpenter. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Mr. Crain was also a member of the Carpenters local and the Masonic Lodge of Grand Tower. He was born Oct. 16, 1900, in Ver-gennes, to Clain and Jane Pyatt Crain. He was married March 22, 1918, in Detroit, Mich, to Jennie Mae Senteney. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lucille Thurman of Gorham Grain dies and Lula Jane Feller of Fairfield ; two sons, Burl S. Crain of Murphysboro and Robert Lynn Crain of Mobile, Ala.; one sister, Jessie Lincoln of Van Nuys, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services ivin be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Crawshaw Mortuary in Murphysboro. Burial will be in the Creekpaum Cemetery at Vergennes. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
