Harlen G. Johnson Harlen G. Johnson, 63, of 2012 S. 16th St., died Sunday morning at Foot Hospital In Jackson, Mich., of an apparent heart attack. He was attending a beagle field trial in Jackson. He was a native of Jackson County, Ky and came to Richmond in 1951 from Kentucky. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II, and was a Disabled American Veteran. He was a member of the First Southern Missionary Baptist Church and the Great Miami Beagle Club In Middletown, Ohio. He had attended Campbellsville (Ky.) College and was a 1951 graduate of Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn. He retired in 1975 as fire inspector at the Veterans Administration facilities in Dayton, Ohio. Survivors include his wife, Wa-neta F.; four sons, Paul G., and Chris D both of Richmond, S. Sgt. Donald K. of Wahiawa, Hawaii, and Timothy E. of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Lois Faye Johnson of Fort Wayne and Eunice Kay Johnson of Granite Quarry, N.C.; his mother, Marin-da Johnson of Richmond; two brothers, Joel Johnson of Shelby-ville, Ky., and Charles Johnson of Healdsburg, Calif.; one sister, Ruth C. Moore of Dayton; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Harlen G. Johnson will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carlos E. Wardwell, minister of the Fairview Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Glenha-ven Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p. m . Tuesday at the funeral home.
