Edwin Rufeners feted at party In celebration of their 40th wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Rufener of 808 Sterling av., Dover, Dover, will be honored at a family dinner Sunday in their home. The event will be hosted by their children, Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Maxine) Rufener and Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Sandie) Rufener of Dover, Mr. and Mrs. James (Irene) Parker of New Philadelphia, Mr. and Mrs. Jay (Doris) Flaherty of Massillon and Mr. and Mrs. John (Louise) Schott of Navarre. Eight grandchildren grandchildren complete the family. Mrs. Rufener is the former Alma Winkler, daughter daughter of Mrs. Ella Lude of 1017 N. Walnut St., Dover, and the late Evertt Winkler. Her stepfather is Wesley Wesley Lude. Edwin is a son of the late Lena and William William Rufener Sr. of Dover. They were married Oct. 11,1935, in New Martinsville, Martinsville, W. Va., by Rev. Don Hinman. They are members of St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Dover. Mrs. Rufener is a member of the Women's Guild and chairman of the weekly quilting group at the church. Rufener has been employed by the Shenango Co. at Dover for 27 years. He collects clocks and pocket watches.
