Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Richardson Chapel in Wayne City with the Rev. Oakley Miller officiating. Burial will be in Salem cemetery near Wayne City. The body will lie state at Richardson Chapel where friends may call after 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Mr. Austin was bom Jan. 10, 1880, in Wayne county, the son of Scott and Jane (Maxey) Austin. In 1904, he was married to Nancy Davis, who survives. He is also survived by a son, Harry E. Austin of Wayne City; a foster son,- Billy Keen of Elgin; two daughters, Mi"s. Golda Wood of Rockford, and Mrs. Gladys GaiTison of Rochelle, HI; a foster daughter. Mi's. Venita Irwin of Mt Vernon; a brother, Rob Austin of Wayne City; six half-brothers, Kelly Austin, Harvey Austin, Clyde Austin, all of Wayne City, Ebbie Austin of Bluford, Roe Austin of Sims, and Everett Austin of Harvey, HI.; a sister, Mrs. Jane Anderson of Tolono, HI.; four half- sisters, Mrs. Hallie McRill of Centralia, Mrs. Ruby Wood of Sycamore, Mrs. Ruth Lay and Mi 'S. Opal Fai'raer, both of DeKalb; 12 grandchildren; 37 great - grandchildren; and sis great-great grandchildren. Mr. Austin was a member of the Keenes Baptist church.
