, resident, Em- area, he had Shawnee State former City Mid- Mike three the A. Dorothy Davis Mrs. Dorothy Lucille Davis, 70, 119 W. North, Brookfield, died Thursday at Pershing Memorial in Brookfield. She was the mother of Margaret Ruby Stone, both of Chillicothe. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday Grace Baptist Church in Brookfield, with the Rev. Hoffman and the Rev. Dallas Williams officiating will be in Park Lawn Memory Gardens, Brookfield. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rhodes Funeral Brookfield. Memorials may be made to Pershing Hospital. Mrs. Davis was born May 24,1913 to Ola F. A Moore Creason. Dec. 17,1938 she married Gail R. in Macon. She was a member of the Grace Baptist was an associate member of the Free Methodist Chillicothe, member of the Army Mothers, Daughters American Revolution, Golden Rural Extension Club, and Senior Citizen group. She taught rural schools in Sullivan and Linn and later was employed at Brown Shoes in Brookfleld 1959 to 1971, when she retired. Surviving are four sons, William C Independence; James F., Winfield, m.; David A , Brookfield, Carol Stream, 111.; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald Cowan, and Ruby Stone, both of Chillicothe; three Noland Creason, Carlsbad, N. Hex.; Fred Creason, Crocker, and Ben Creason, Purdin; sister, Mrs. (Martha) Smith, Purdin; 16 grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and in Nov. 13,1971.
