MDLDROW.OKLA Stole a March on 'Em. The marriage -of Miss Minnie Rogers'to Mr. Toney Jackson occurred occurred last Saturday evening about eight o'clock in Gans, Rev. Shackelford Shackelford was the officiating minister. Last Saturday afternoon Miss Rogers packed her articles of ap parel and quietly slipped out of the house to a rig'that was wailing a few blocks away where she was met by her loyer and together they drove to Gans where they were married. The wedding was a complete surprise surprise loHhe bride's, parents, Mr.and Ers. J: F. Rogers, in fact Mr. Rogers told a Pi^ess man that there would have been serious objections to the wedding had they been apprised apprised of the fact. It seems that this was a case of "love at first sight" as the groom first met Miss Rogers during the Holiness meeting a few weeks ago. However, this is only a surmised conclusion as it might have been that the young people had been indulging in"stolen sweets" many moons prior to the above mentioned time. Be this all as it may, they are married now and the Press extends congratulations and Mashes them a hiarmouious continuation of their matrimonial felicity. Ten Years In Pententlary. Geo. Many have expressed the opinion that Chuculate was fortunate in getting such a light sentence. Rev. W. A. King and G. A.
