x ,. Moore Albert B. Moore HARRODSBURG Albert Bland Moore 85, of Nicholasville, died Thursday at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington. Born July 15, 1920, in Mackville, he was the son of the late Robert and Gertie Roberts Moore. He was a retired sales representative and sales manager manager for Kentucky Kentucky Electric Steel Co. and Reliance Steel. He served in the Army dur ing World War II with the 192nd Tank Battalion, .received two Bronze Stars, was a prisoner of war and was in the Bataan Death March. He was a member of the Veterans Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled Disabled American Veterans and Indian Hills Christian Church in Danville for 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Bessie Louise Carter Moore; two sons, Gregory B. Moore of Terre Haute, Ind., and Bradley K. Moore of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Sheryl L. Crowe of Nicholasville; a sister, Vera Williams of Franklin, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. great-grandchildren. great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday Saturday at Indian Hills Christian Church by Odis Clark and Lance Ladd. Burial with military military rites will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cecil Vandiver, Wayne Doolin, Jerry Wade, David Gibson, Gary Lane, Amos Sharpe and Jim Crouch.
