Norman Family Reunion.
Off? A reunion of descendants of Elmer and Osa Norman, who had nine children, and John and Jane Norman, who had nine children,1 was held April 21. It was an Informal gathering at the Hitchin' Post Restaurant in Norman. The Hitchin' Post used to be the general store that was across the street from Elmer and Osa's home where many of their children grew up. Many of the cousins hadn't seen each other for 25 to 30 years. The train stopped at the station there. In fact, the house that later became the Norman House originally a boarding house near the station. The cousins thought Norman was an appropriate place to gather because of the history there. The reunion was organized by two of the cousins, . Col. and ' Mrs. Harry Mrs. Wilson of Santa Ana. Calif., who is a daughter of Jewel Norman Denny and Harry Denny, and Brad Norman of Kettering, Ohio, son of Ervln Norman of California and the late laxlne Norman. In addition to Norman and Brad, those attending were Charles and Audrey Norman of Atlanta, Ga.; Don and Verla Norman of Brownstown; Kenneth, Annette and Joe Norman of Mitchell; sisters Marjorie Isenberg of Bedford, Mary Evelyn and Ernest Fish of Brownstown; Rodney and Darlene Fish of Bedford; Phillip and Barbara Fish of Jeffersonville; Michael and Diane Fish of Brownstown; Tim Fish of Rushville; Betty Brabant of Rancho Bernardo, Calif.; Kathy, Alicia and Kevin Stanley of Clarksville, Md..; Larry Norman of Medora; and Brian and Andrea , Waldbieser of Mitchell. , : , (4 The Denny's were formerly from Jackson County and lived in California.
