h ' Lucy Mary Chapdelaine Edwards SHREVEPORT, LA - Mrs. Lucy Mary Chapdelaine Edwards, died at Live Oak Nursing Home, in Shreveport Shreveport on Friday, January 12, 1996 after after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held at Osborn Funeral Home on Monday, January 15, from 4:30 until 6:00 p.m., a vigil services will follow at 6 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, at St. Jospeh's Catholic Church, 228 patten. Officiating will be Father Richard Richard J. Lombard of St. Joseph's Parish. Parish. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Edwards was a native of Providence, Providence, Rl, and was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, a President of Circle 8 and past President of Marys Worker Worker General. She was active at St. Joseph's, Joseph's, St. Vincent's and Jesuit High School during the time that her children children were in school. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Metivier Chapdelaine and her father, Adelard Xavier Chapdelaine. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lewis Edwards; four children, L. William Edwards Edwards and wife, Nancy of Tucson, AZ, Robert Edwards and wife, Cindy of Austin, TX, David Edwards and wife, Lori of Brooklyn, NY, Cyndi Nitz-ken Nitz-ken Nitz-ken and husband, Tom of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren, Heather and Amy Edwards of Tucson, A2, Weslely and Rachael Edwards of Austin, TX, Timothy and James Nitzken of Orlando, Orlando, FL; two sisters, Marie Nance of Napa, CA and Joan Brooks of Providence, Providence, Rl; brother, Adelard Chapdelaine Chapdelaine of Apply Valley, CA. Pallbearers will be Henry Brenner, Gilbert Harkey, John lies, Eddie Blanchard, Michael McCarthy and Donald Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Edward Streuwing, Edward Tooley, Ronald Ronald C. Haas of Memphis, TN and John Mimnaugh of Warwick, Rl. The family requests that memorials be made to Christian Services, 1244 Sprague St., Shreveport, LA 71101. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Ann Hol-man, Hol-man, Hol-man, Nursing Director of Live Oak, and all her staff of nurses and aides who were so kind to Lucy Edwards during her lengthy confinement. They would also like to express their thanks to Fr. Murray Clayton for his help and guidance to Mrs. Edwards, for the many years of his association with her and her family, and also to Fr. Richard J.
