Andrew Klugh's hen 29 Jul 1923
Build est iO Feet in Air. Perched high in the air, twenty feet above the ground In the crotch of a tree, a hen belonging to Andrew Klugh, colored, of Cokesbury, Is brooding over eight eggs and , confi dently expects to hatch out eight chicks. The folly of a "fool hen" can't be measured, says Andrew, who wonders at the wisdom of a hen who will leave a comfortable neat on the ground for a mere flat trough between between two limbs. The hen pecked oft a few leaves and made a pest and aceitiB pleased with the outlook, what Is bothering the neighbors is how she will net her brood to earth. Andrew Is of the opinion that they will be fliers when they.'r.c Jwlched and will glide down to earth safely.
