the when of in serving a the Fish Demon, lleinlerrton. A f t e r a long and painful illness Asa Ayres died at the residence of son, Mr. John F. Ayres, on Tuesday last, aged about 70 years. The direct cause of his death was asthma. He had been a consistent Christian for forty years and was a member of M. E. church of this place, and was much beloved by his neighbors. He leaves seven children. His remains were interred in the family burying- ground on the home farm on Henderson folks have lately organized organized a debating society. County Commissioner Commissioner Price is president, Dr. Thomas secretary and J. T. Gough treasurer. Woman's suffrage was discussed Thursday Thursday evening. The judges decided that the fair sex should vote. Miss Golley edits the society's paper, "The Henderson Henderson Star." Miss Josephine Moore, of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, is the guest of Mrs. Alex Butler
