0 Trojans Open on Frackville Grid The Harrisburg Trojans pro foot ball team will open the 1948 season tomorrow at 2.30 p. m. against the strong Shenandoah Presidents, of the Pennsylvania Professional League, on the Frackville High School field at Frackville. Coach John Clark has announced that veteran Albert House, stellar tackle on the Trojan team, will cap tain the local eleven tomorrow. Aside from House, Clark said that 28 men will make the trip to Frackville and that he felt sure the Trojans will be able to hold their own against the favored Shenandoah club. This will mark the second year in a row that the Trojans have opened their season against the Presidents, losing to them by an 8-to-0 8-to-0 8-to-0 8-to-0 8-to-0 score during the last four minutes of a hard fought battle last season. Coaches Clark, Vince Whiting and Henry House will discuss plans for the game this evening with the play ers. Coach Clark announced that only seven veterans will be on this year's squad, with the rest of the team being made up of young rook ies, some of whom will be playing pro football for the first time. The following Trojan players will make the trip to Frackville: Ends Bob Sostar, Oliver Evans, William Captain Al House. Jim Buddy Harden and George Crummel; guards, Mark Palmer, Femon Bowers, Bowers, Donald Spradley and William Summers; centers, John Clark and Robbie Lewis; backs, Ducky Brown, Regie Lathan, Demoe Robinson, William William Folkes, Jim Franklin, Dave Wachtman, Jim Grant, Bill Gray, Irvin Smith, John Burney, John Wilson, Wilson, Leroy Banks and Jim Coldren.
