MICHAEL LAZO Michael Lazo, of 356 Park St., Freeland, died suddenly at 7:30 p.m. yesterday in the Hazleton State General Hospital. Born in Freeland, he was a son of the late Michael and Helen Petrushka Lazo, and was a member member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Catholic Church, Freeland. Prior to locating on the North Side area three years ago, he lived in Pittsburgh where he was secretary secretary of the Greek Catholic Union for more than 30 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the U.S. Steel Co. at the Home-stead Home-stead Home-stead plant. Surviving are his wife, the former former Susan Magula, and the following following children: Edward, Hamilton, Ohio; Michael, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Anthony (Irene) Speranzo, Oklahoma Oklahoma City, Okla.; Joseph, Louisiana; Louisiana; and twins, Francis and Fran-cine, Fran-cine, Fran-cine, both at home; seven grand-children grand-children grand-children and the following brothers and sisters, Andrew, home; Mrs. John (Mary) Zabach, Freeland; Joseph, West Hazleton; Mrs. George (Helen) Bradish, Freeland; and Mrs. Robert (Anne) Heisner, this city. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held from the McNulty Funeral Home, Free-land, Free-land, Free-land, at a time to be announced.
