Edwardsville Kingston 7-491 7-491 7-491 $27 Is Donated To Service Men's Fund Thomas Kane, Main street restaurant restaurant proprietor, today turned over to officials of the Service Men's Victory Fund the sum of $27 which he collected last night. He charged dance patrons 10 cents each with the understanding that the money would be given to the service men's group. Kane presented each patron with "V 'pins. , , Sponsors of the fund hope to raise sufficient money to purchase military military kits for boys in the service and for those yet to be called to the colors. The kits contain a razor, shaving brush, tooth brush, hair brush, mirror, comb,' nail file, and sewing kit. Burgess Michael Walko is chairman chairman of the fund; Prof. V. E. Lewis, secretary; James Dukas, treasurer; Peter Wanko and Edward Punoski, trustees.
