in to Hampshire to 3 FUNERAL TODAY FOR VICTIM OF WILTON DROWNING Wilton, Nov 12--Funeral service service for six-year-old Philip R. Pellerin, Pellerin, son of Mr and Mrs Emilien Emilien Pellerin of 2 Mill st, who accidentally drowned before the eyes of several companions when he fell into the water while playing on the banks of the canal at the rear of Abbott Worsted Mill Saturday, was held this morning from the Nelson Funeral home, followed by a liÂ« bera at Sacred Heart church per* formed by Rev John J. McCarthy. The boy, who was unable to swim,' fell in about 20 feet of water. It was said by some of the boys that he fell in, while other boys said that he jumped, unaware of the water. Aid was immediately summoned summoned by the boys and firemen and volunteer workers spent over an hour before they recovered recovered the body. An attempt was made to revive the boy with pulmotor, but failed. Survivors include the boy's parents, two brothers, Emilien, Jr, and Leo and two sisters, Rose Marie and Jeannine. Burial was in Mont Calvary cemetery. Bearers were students of the High school.
