! ! Fifty Years Married. Brush Creek, June 12. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morgan celebrated their golden wedding, Saturday, June 12th. At 4 o'clock all enjoyed a bountiful repast. repast. The dining room was handsomely handsomely decorated with beautiful June roses, and a bouquet on the center of the table. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan have been residents residents of Missouri since 1864. They have demeaned themselves in such a manner as to win the respect of all who know them. Owing to sickness ir the family there were but one or two besides relatives relatives present. Among those present were L. J. Morgan and wife, Mrs. R. J. Jones, Mrs. D. J. Richards, Bevier; D. W. Jones and wife, J. B. Jones and wife, Ben. L. Morgan and wife, Rev. and Mrs. W. Roberts, Brush Creek; Ed. Jones and two sons, Tom and George, Callao; Miss Sarah Morris and Mrs. Jenkin Jones. The grandchildren present were Mabel Jones and Johnny Richards, Bevier; Tom and George Jones, Callao. A letter was received from another daughter, Mrs. E. R. Davis, of LaFayette, Colorado, regretting regretting that she could not be present, but expects to be here next month . Thomas Morgan has been an elder in the Welsh C. M. church at Brush Creek for many years, and has led the singing, being very faithful in discharge of all his church duties. All unite with the writer in wishing many years of happiness and God's blessings upon the couple.
