He was born here in 1908, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin Stanton Muir. Following graduation from Winona Senior High School, he graduated from the University of Minnesota medical school and served 414 years in (he Army medical corps during World War II. After separation from the he set up practice at Graceville, Minn., and moved to Brovuis ley in 1946. Browns Valley is Traverse County. He was married at Wheaton, Minn., in 1942. Dr. Muir is survived by his Candace; two sons, Edwin and Robert, Browns Valley; one er. Dr. Edwin C. Muir, Tacoma, Wash., and (wo sisters, Mrs. J. Watkins, Winona, and Mrs. Donald Donald McConnon, Minneapolis. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Thompson Brothers Brothers Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona.
