oo DR. ESTES FACES SERIOUHHJIRGE The death of Mrs. Montana Moore, following an Illegal operation per' formed about three week3 ago, re- suited last evening in the arrest of Dr N D. Estes on the charge of on Alleged abortion. The arrest was made by Detective James Pender on a warrant sworn out by Mrs. Anna Bothwell, mother of the deceased. At a late hour last night friends of Dr. Estes had been unable to furnish security on his bonds of $1,000 and the physician was still confined in a cell at tho city Jail. Tho an- nouncement oi the doctor's arrest spread quickly about the city. Mrs. Moore was a daughter of "Mr. and Mrs John Bothwell of 2699 Adams avenue and her death oc curred there at t o'clock yesterday morning. Complications resulted which baffled the mndical skill of two other physicians who were summoned, fol- lowing the dismissal of Dr. Estes. Mrs. Moore was horn in Montana on August 5, ISO'!, beinc not yet 18 years of ane She had resided in this city for the past three years and her marriag? to Robert Moore took place about two years ago. Funeral services will be held at the Heaton-Klrkendall funeral chapel at 2;30 o'clock this afternoon. Friends maj view the remains at the chapel between the hours of 10 and 12 to- day. inj '
