HI BATTLE cuu T"NEWS Monday, April 6,1959 Page 7 Crowell Carton Employes Recognized at Open House MARSHALL Eighty-three Eighty-three Eighty-three employes of Crowell Carton Co., division of St. Regis Paper Co., at Marshall, were recognized for their service to the firm during the company's first open house held Saturday. Of special significance was a presentation which Robert Hein, production manager, made to Mrs. Cathleen Johnston of Te- Te- konsha. Mrs. Johnston received a suggestion award in the amount of $470.16, the largest such award in the history of Crowell. The winning suggestion was relative to relocation of a counter on a machine used to glue cartons. Present Service Awards Also highlighting the program was the presentation of 10-year 10-year 10-year service awards to Mrs. Arol Hill, Hubert Brown and Douglas Engblom. Two Dearborn Women Hurt Near Marshall MARSHALL Two Dearborn women suffered minor injuries at 2:50 p.m. Sunday when their automobile overturned on US-27, US-27, US-27, six miles south of Marshall. Marshall. Injured were Mary Nicholson, Nicholson, 43, who suffered shock and cuts on the right arm; and Bernice Owen, 22, who suffered shock and cuts on the back. Both women were released from Oaklawn hospital after treatment. Sheriff's deputies said the driver told them she lost control control after the car ran off the pavement on a long sweeping curve. The car skidded side-wise side-wise side-wise across the road, struck a culvert, overturned and then righted itself before stopping.
