Two carloads of Woodmen drove to Fort Scott Monday evening to visit the lodge there, They report an enjoyable enjoyable time and were royally entertained entertained by the lodge there. The following following members of the Hiattvillo lodge went: Tom Walker, D. S. Run-kie, Run-kie, Run-kie, W. S. Runkle, John Taylor, Em-mett Em-mett Em-mett Fisher, Lee McCuniber, Will Strasser, Robt. Landers, Horace Wheler and E. B. Armstrong. The date of the high school play has been set for Saturday night. John Landers, Jr., went to Fort Scott Tuesday. Mary Lookingbill was in Fort Scott Monday. Miss Stocking of Pittsburg, Kas., who has a class of pupils in music Is organizing a chorus and will give an entertainment at some future date. Wm. Hass who has been visiting relatives at Anthony, Kas., for some time, returned home Tuesday evening. Mr. Harry Armstrong, was in Fort Scott Monday on business. Mrs. A. N. Routb returned home from Fort Scott Wednesday. Miss Grace Crumnacker went to Hepler Wednesday afternoon. . Several from here attended the commencement exercises at the Fort Scott high school Wednesday evening. Mrs. Thompson of Hepler' is visiting with her son C. W Thompson.
