Robert L. Kent 85, the widower of Bernice Constatine Kent died on Nov. 20, 2003. He was a member of Holy Angels Angels Catholic Church and the I Cosmo Knights So-Icial So-Icial So-Icial Club and served as Tournament Director for the Junior Charity Golf Tournaments Tournaments for several years. In the 1950s and early 1960s, he owned and operated Kent's Crossroads Service and Body Shop. He was the first Afro-American Afro-American Afro-American Body Shop Manager at Palmer Dodge in the 1960s, later was a Claims Adjuster for State Farm Insurance Insurance until his retirement in 1989. Bob, was well known throughout the Golfing Community, Community, Fineral Services: 1 p.m. Mon., Nov. 24 at Holy Angels Catholic Church with calling from 11 a.m. until services.
