John E. Riker SUN CITY—John E. Riker, 70, a retired mechanical engineer and a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church here, died yesterday after a long illness in his home, 9921 Pepria Ave. Mr. Riker came to Phoenix in 1954 from Lebanon, Ohio, moved to Glendale and had lived in Sun City since 1966 where he was a member of the Cactus Weavers Guild. He was born in Corbin, Ky. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the church, 10233 W. Peoria Ave. Cremation will follow. Lundberg's Golden Door Chapel made arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Elaine; two sons, Jefferson of Senatobia, Miss., and Sgt. David Riker of the Arizona Highway Patrol in Flagstaff; and seven grandchildren. The family prefers contributions to the Sunshine Service, 10307 Coggins Drive.
