(Captain Charlie) Anderson Anderson died in a local nursing home Thursday Thursday afternoon. She was 94. Mrs. Anderson was born at Econfina and was the last of 12 children of Walter R. and Sarah Martin Gainer. She married married Captain Anderson in 1896. Captain Anderson founded and operated operated a fishing fleet of parly boats that still operates at Grand Lagoon, A son, Charts Max Anderson, operates a Shell Islan.l sightseeing tour boat docked at Grand Lagoon. Mrs. Anderson actively assisted her husband in the business, according to a daughter, Mrs. R. E. Barnes. Mr?. Anderson was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Panama City chapter of the Order Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors other than her son and . daughter include another daughter, Mrs. P. D. Heath of Panama City; two other sons, Lambert Anderson and Birgil Anderson Anderson both of Panama City; 14 grandchildren; grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
