BurKeen, 00, j.of 109 North Bailey Street will be conducted Sat- urday at 2 p.m. al the Concord Baptist Church in Leon County. Mr. Burkeen died Thursday at 2:45 p.m. at General Me-xia Hospital, following a brief illness. illness. He was a retired farmer and was married to Miss Ruth Brooks on Dec, 27. 1914, in Leon County. '/i Mr. Burkeen had lived in Mexia aboul 12 years. Surviving are his wife, of Mexia; four sons, Henry Burkeen Burkeen of California, Lee Burkeen of Nacogdoches, Boyd Burkeen of Galena Park, and Lloyd Burkeen of Farrar; Iwo daughters. daughters. Mrs. Liilie Brem of Crane and Mrs. 0/elle BosJ of Waco; three sisters, 'Mrs. Liilie Grisselt and Mrs. Berlha Gaskin, Gaskin, both of Teague. and Mrs. Rosia Cureton of Jewell; 13 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Officiating al the services will be the Rev. B. G. Thompson Thompson of Mexia. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, under direction direction of Shelton Funeral Home. Nephews will serve as pall-
