HOOPER WILL CHOOSE QUEEN FRIDAY NIGHT Contests, Entertainment Be Held Saturday and Monday Several new entries have been submlttd to the beauty contest committee for the Tomato day Labor day celebration in Hooper. There are now nine contestants, as follows: Miss June Wangsgard, Huntsvllle: Miss Ordell Powers. Hooper; Miss Phyllis Barker. North Ogden: Miss June Shepherd. Roy; Miss Elma Belnap, Hooper; Miss Norma Hunter, Taylor; Miss Anna Telford. Plain Miss Marie Cook, Roy, and Miss Orella Fowers, Hooper. INFORMAL ATTIRE By recommendation of the committee, the contest has been changed so that the contestants will judged in informal apparel instead of bathing suits. The beauty contest will close at ten-thirty next Friday night. Aug. 31. At that time the queen will chosen and c;owncd and awards will be made to the queen and of honor. The Hooper farm bureau is in charge of activities. There will be contests, including a rodeo, Satur- day afternoon and evening and celebration program will be opened again Monday morning, to continue through the day nnd evening. ets good for admission to all will be sold at small cost.
