Senator James Davis. * * * DEBATE--Compulsory military training of youths for one year is needed according to the result of a debate between Pottstown High school debaters at a meeting of Kiwanis club. The negative side was upheld by Harold and Ed Galligan while the successful affirmative talkers were Frances Tisdale and Herbert'Philips. * * * 'BANQUET-The Catholic Women's club of St. Aloysius Girl Scouts held banquet in honor of mothers. Marie Patrizi, vice president" of the club, was toastmasier. Addresses were made by the Rev. Thomas D. McCressen and Rev. Joseph A. McDonald. Daniel Gallagher, Georgeann J a c o b s , Jacobs Jr., Helen Dimeco and Dorothy Groover appeared on the entertainment program.
