New York, Aug. 21.?A car of the New York Gity Railway Company, which waa being repaired yeaterday after noou on the fourth l! oor of the barn of the 14th street line, at 14th street and Avenue B, came auddeuly in contact with tbe current that had been turned on for sbifting cara to otber tracka. It Btarted, ran off the end of tbe track, through two bricka walla, into a aix-atory tenement houae, occupied by twenty four familioa, at No. 621 eaat 14th atreet. The car poked ita forward eod acveral inchca into tbe three 100m apart ment of Roaario Caccamo, an Italian, living with hia daughter and two aona on the fifth floor. A pauic reaulled in the tenement houae, men, women and cbildren ruahing into the atreet and up to tbe roof. Nobody waa httrt, however.
