REPUBLIC NEWS By GKACE WALLS The Young People's class of the First Christian church presented the play "Here Comes Charlie", Wednesday Wednesday and Tiiursday evening in the Welfare Hall at Republic. A farce in three acts was directed by Miss Margaret Haines. The English teacher teacher in Redstone High School. The cast was as follows: Nora Maloae, Cook at the Elliott home--Bina Green. , Officer -Timothy -McGill--Nora's sweetheart--Walter Collins. Mrs. Fanny Farnham--Larry's aunt by marriage--Nellie Sirtosky. Lam* Elliott--A young business man--Charles Masso. Ted Hartley--Larry's old-time college college pal--William (Jiggs) Palmer. Vivian Smythe-Kersey -- Larry's fiancee--Kathryn Lewis.. Uncle Aleck Twiggs--In charge of Charlie-T-Mike Preamble. Charlie Happs--Larry's ward- Betty Keeney. Mrs. Caroline. Smythe-Kersey-Vivian's Smythe-Kersey-Vivian's mother--Ruth Sterbutzel. Mortimer Smythe-Kersey--Vi'/i- a'n's brother--George Walls.
