ALICE FAIRCHILD BOLDLY STAY.^ Chats With Friends On Principa Streets, Though Commitment Is issued. Mrs. Alice Falrchild-Honore Rosen berg was in lola in a princii»al part ol town at 3:30 this afternoon. Up to that time she had not been arrested. A commitment for her was issued and pliiced in theh ands of the police yes- tei^day by Police Judge Adair. Months ago tho woman was coavicted for run ning a bawdy hohse and fined |100. She was permitted to go on the pledge that she should not return. She was told at tho time that if she returned to lola the commitment would be issued. Yesterday she came to lola in defl ance o fthls. She sent her regards tc the police department in the form of the information that she would siay j here il she wanted to. Yesterd^- af- l temodn she went to one o fihe local Stations. The report was circulated that She left town. Whether she ^id leave or was merely making a strong bluff is not known. That she was on the street at 3 this afternoon convers-! ing with friends was very evident.
