H. 0. R. 's Achievement The people of Hamilton read In Saturday's Journal of manufacturing TRIUMPH by one of our industries-.The Hooven, Owens and Rentschler Co. For a long time the Diesel engine has been the of Germany's machine product that has attracted the attention of the engineers of the world. The H. 0. R. that has a long history in QUALITY PRODUCTION gained deserved honor during the war not only in but quantity production for the U. S. government, there was a place in American manufacture for the engine. If the TRADITION OF THE COMPANY was to preserved G. A. Rentschler, Jr., held that if Diesel engines were to be made by H. 0. R., then such MUST BE THE BEST of its type. And whatever comes will'be the res'ult of Mr. Rentschler'c determination determination to approach the subject'at its source and secure a working basis the BEST THOUGHT and experience German engineers. Long months of study and investigation investigation in Germany led to the selecting of' the type of engine the H. 0. R. Co., has just completad. The Journal feels that the people of Hamilton justly proud of G. A. .Rentschler, Jr., and the H. To develop a Diesel engine that the H. 0. R. Co., guarantee has been a large and expensive task; also a required ability and courage. All Hamilton will congratulate the H. Q. R. Co., and will hope that the DIESEL will take its place among the outstanding engine achievements of American industry and ingenuity.
