Pioneer Resident Passes at Home Funeral services for Laura V. ray, 74, prominent local pioneer resident, of 2118 Cedar street, who died today at her home, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a. m. in the Hopson Hopson Mortuary chapel with the Reverend Reverend B. C. Barrett officiating. Burial will be held in Union ceme- ery. A native of Pennsylvania, Mrs. >ray had lived in Bakersfield for 10 years, during which time she was known by a host of friends. She was an active member of the First Bap- ist Church. Mrs. Gray is survived by her son, , W. Gray, Placerville; her daugh- ers, Mrs. Ruby Tanner, San Ferlando, Ferlando, Miss Mary Gray, Bakersfield, ,Irs. Grace N. Brown, Bakersfield and Mrs. Maude Booher, Bridge, Dre.; her sister, Mrs. Alto. Rogers, Bakersfield; and two sisters and two irothers in Pennsylvania.
