HAD PLANNED A CAMPAIGN. The Kiiflluutou Ilorso Thieves Had Other Robberies Scheduled. The horse thieves, who so narrowly escaped lynching from the hands of the Bufflngton township vigilance committee last week, had several robberies mapped out. They Intended to crack George Sybert's store in Strongstown and relieve Lowry Grow of considerable cash. Mr. Grow Is a treasurer in a Jr. O. U. A. M. lodge and the robbers knew he hud a great deal of money at his house. They droye to his farm the same night they stole Mr. Tomb's horse, At the gate of his home they saw Mr. Grow and gave the job up. From there the burglars went to Sybert's store and had started to work on the door, when they were scared away by Strongstown people, who fired several shots at them. In addition to the burglar tools found in the buggy there was a large stick of brimstone. It is supposed the thieves intended to flre some victim's house. The burglars are known and detectives are on their trail. The robbers are supposed to be working in combination with a band of counterfeiters, who are that country. quartered out in
