Mrs. Tom Goins Guest of Honor At Bridal Shower Mrs. Basil Teter Mrs. Tom Goins was honored guest at a bridal shower at Goldsmith Church Wednesday evening. Goins left aboard an aircraft carrier Friday, so the theme for the shower was anchors anchors and life savers. Mrs. Robert Phares was chairman chairman of the hostess committee. The bride's chosen colors of pink, white were carried out in room decorations. Each guest was presented an anchor with a life saver attached for favors. Miss Betty Endicott was the contest winner. The serving table, laid with a white cloth decorated with large pink anchors, was centered with a pink floral arrangement and lighted tapers. Mrs. Ray Hurlock Hurlock and Mrs. Fred Sturdevant, sisters of the bride, served pink punch, pink iced cakes and white mints to approximately 50 guests. Mrs. Goins was assisted in unwrapping unwrapping her gifts by Misses Linda Watson, Kieta Park and Mrs. Jerry Small. Special guests were the bride's mother, Mrs. Robert McFarland McFarland and her sisters, Mrs. Ray Hurlock, Kokomo, and - Mrs. Fred Sturdevant, the groom's grandmother, .Mrs. Thomas Lindley of Westfield. .
