Two Waynesboro Men Stricken by Paralysis Waynesboro, June 12. Two well known citizens of Waynesboro were stricken by paralysis in the last twenty - four hours. One was Jacob F. - Newman, a. veteran of the Civil War, for many .years a justice of the peace here and father of Samuel Newman, superintendent of the Lan - dis Machine Company. - iH fell over last evening in the yard at his home, being found .some time later by his housekeeper. . Little hope is entertained for his recovery. The second victim is J. H. Wolf - kill, who for many years conducted a butcher shop in Center Square, and who retired from business a few months ago. He also was stricken suddenly while superintending some work at his home.
