Hospital, Keyser, from in- juries suffered Friday afternoon when his truck was struck by an automobile operated by E. R. Elkins, W. Va., on the McCoole- Westemport road, two -miles from McCoole. -It is said that Swick crashed into the rear end of the truck and both machines were hurtled from the highway into a field. Mr. Dawson was a native of mont and had lived to the" Tri- Towns all of his life. He was of the late Charles N. and Sarah (Hart) Dawson. His mother died Thanksgiving Day! He was employ- ed at the Luke plant and was member of T r i n i t y Church. Surviving are his wife, Nol* (P.oblnette) Dawson, a n d eight children, Mrs. Daniel R. Holler, Piedmont; Allen Dale Dawsor, man first class. South Pacific; da F., Austin L., Vane T, Sarah Gene If. and Barbara Dawson, home; three brothers, Harry Daw- son, Turtle Creek, Pa.; Thomas Herbert Dawson, Luke, and two ters, Mrs. Edward Dayton, Western- port, and Mrs. Josephine Stewart, Cumberland.
