AMIS MAIIf Ceremony Is Closing Feature of Gala Week at St. Paul ' By Associated Prist St. Paul, Minn., Feb. 12. Amid 400 candles and S00 guests, Moses O. Toby, son of George Toby, a Syrian mer - chant, was married to Victoria Zlnnte, of Butte, Mont., at his father's residence In this city yeoterday. The ceremony was the closing fea ture of an elaborate Syrian wedding that has been In progress since last Tuesday evening. Fellow countrymen and their wives came from all part of the United , States to attend what they declare is the grandest Syrian wedding that has taken place in this country In twenty years. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Nicola E. Yann,ey, rector of St Oeorge Syrian Greek Orthodox Church, Kearney, Neb. Various foods and wines were Importaed from tha native land, and not an American dish was served in the six days. , From Wednesday on the bride and groom - to - be occupied a specially prepared corner of the parlor, where they received the guests and were entertained by the Syrian sword dancers. 116
