Before her marriage in Fayette 50 years ago, Mrs. Avery was the former Miss Pearl Newman. She and Mr. Avery, a retired rail- road man, have been making their home in Mexico for the past 20 years. Mr. Avery owns and operates Avery's Grocery, on North ; Western Avpnnp. i ' The Averys are the parents of nine children, all of whom are living. They include: Mrs. G. C. Atkins, 3Irs.
