Four Launch Battle On Housing Shortage in City This Week Four new home's will be built in Waukesha under permits issued this week by R. T. Jones, city building inspector. Total amount to be spent for this construction is $35,100, according to estimates of contractors. Largest new home being started is for Elmer Mairet, who now resides at 722 Oakland ave. Placed on a lot at 1001 Anoka ave., the. six room frame structure 15 expected to cost $11,800 when finished. Two homes are in the $8,500 price class. A four-room frame home at 214 Estberg ave. for E. C. DeRemer, 203 N. Grand ave., U one, while a six room frame home at 1522 Jefferson ave., for Joseph L, Boos, Hubertus route 1, is the other.
