ROLLED INTO THE CREEK. Gottlieb Mueller, a Market Gardener, Narrowly Escapes Drowning- Drowning- In Beargrass Creek. Gottlieb Mueller, a market gardener on the Bardstown read, had a narrow escape from a watery grave yesterday morning about 5 o'clock. After Mueller Mueller had disposed of his wares on Saturday Saturday night he did not start home until early in the morning. When he reached Baxter avenue and the Beargrass creek Mueller could not distinguish between the road and the sidewalk. He drove across the sidewalk ino the railroad embankment. Mueller, his two mules and his wagon went down together and rolled into the cold and muddy water of the creek. Fred Hail, a nlghtwatchman. witnessed witnessed the accident and succeeded In pulling Mueller out after he waa half drowned. Several other men were called, who assisted in gluing the mules and wagon out of the T-reek. T-reek. T-reek. Mueller was suffering from Intense cold and from having swallowed too much creek water. He was taken to Dr. Rudells office, where he was soon revived.
