Mr. Purrington ;ind family, of Santa Rosa, have recently arrived in town and have taken charge of the Abrahams' ranch. Miss McElrov has returned from Willits and reopened her school across the river last Monday, Mrs. Smith, of Stockton is visiting visiting her sister, Mrs. Thatcher. Mrs. Timothy Hopkins, of San Francisco, is visiting in town. Mrs. Jincy Mc.Nultv, nee Grant, of San Francisco, is visiting relatives and friends in town. Mrs. Harris, of Healdsburg is vis- ititing at the home of her son, J. W. Harris. Our school re-opened Monday with J. W. Utter at the spanker boom, Orrin Brooks is quite ill at her home across the river. What might have been a serious accident occurred this afternoon to the Hall children as they were returning returning home from town when a run-away horse dashed into tjheir buggy, overturning it and throwing the children tinder the hoofs of the run-away horse. Both children vvere badly bruised but escaped serious injury. T .\ j
